I am so proud that our studio is celebrating three years in business as Marz Aerial Arts & Fitness! With our brand new Aerial Studio having opened this past Monday, July 29th, and our third anniversary on Thursday, August 1st, I have a lot to be grateful for this week. I have such an incredible team of instructors, a very supportive family helping me in every way they can, and the most encouraging and dedicated community of artists, aerialists, and all-around inspiring people to work alongside almost every day: that's all of you!
This past year we've continued to see incredible growth, all of which couldn't have been possible without our Marz Aerial Team. We've added 6 new team members: Vivienne, Cassie, Casey, Sylvia, Rachel, and Coco, all of whom have brought unique perspectives, programming, and talent to our community. Together, our team has hosted 1,427 classes over the past year with a total of 6,898 visits, serving 200 new clients.
Since last August, we've expanded our Youth Aerials Program to include a third level, offered weeknight classes throughout the school year AND summer, hosted our first Youth Showcase with 14 talented "Mini Martians", and offered 5 weeks of Summer Camp, including one Level 2 session. We added Level 1 and Level 2 Aerial Sling classes to our Aerial Silks curriculum, Heels Basics classes to our Pole Fitness curriculum, Aerial Sphere to our Aerial Lyra curriculum, and have started offering regular daytime Pole Fitness classes for Levels 1 and 2 under the instruction of Coco & Vivienne.
I cannot thank you all enough for your continued support of our studio, our community, and each other! You all bring so much joy, energy, light, and love to my life. Thank you.

We were so proud to share the stage with other local acts at the New Bern Civic Theatre in the 3rd annual New Bern Follies, an event we have been involved in every year!

Cabaret
As the Show Sponsor, we had our first Marz Aerial Family Night at the final dress rehearsal for Cabaret.
This production was such an incredible experience to be a part of, thank you so much to everyone who came out to support the show (and those who performed in it!)

Introducing...
The Marz Aerial Performance Team! At the beginning of 2024 we laid the groundwork for an official Performance Team, and we were honored to be hired to perform at the New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce's 125th Anniversary Celebration in May.

We have been involved with New Bern Pride since its inception, and we were thrilled to not only sponsor this year's Pride Prom, but to open the evening's festivities with a performance!

Return to The Great Trent River Raft Race
It's been a couple years since our last performance at The Great Trent River Raft Race, an older New Bern tradition that has more recently been revived by the Chamber of Commerce. Our Marz Aerial Performance Team had so much fun "playing mermaids" and providing some high-flying entertainment at the event!

I am so proud of our Marz Aerial Competition Team for the hard work that they put into their routines for this year's Pole Sport Organization (PSO) Triangle Competition. Alicia, Autumn, Vivienne, and Victoria made us all so proud in Cary last weekend!
