This January at Marz Aerial Arts & Fitness

Happy New Year, everyone!

I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday season and that you've all had a great start to your 2024. We've got so many exciting things to share with you this month, and this year, and this is only the beginning!

First of all, we've made some adjustments to our weekly class schedule to realign and balance out the class load for students and instructors as we go into the New Year. We've moved a few classes around, and have added some, too! I've created the following graphics for reference (these will also be posted on our social media soon), and, of course, our most up-to-date schedule will always be on MindBody. As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions!

What's On Our Schedule

Poleography with Devon

Join us for a 4-week Poleography series with Devon starting TONIGHT! She'll be teaching us a routine to SexyBack by İlkan Günüç and Clara Stegall.

January Youth Series

Our January Youth Series will start the week of Monday, January 8th, and will be back on our regular 4-week schedule.

NEW CLASS ALERT: Intro to Aerial Sling

Starting Saturday, January 13th, we are introducing a formal curriculum for a new apparatus! Cassie will be teaching Intro to Aerial Sling on Saturdays at 10am. It is part of our Aerial Silks category and will be covered if you have an Aerial Silks or Monthly Unlimited Membership.

Join Our PSO Competition Team!

Have you ever thought about performing? Are you a Pole Fitness student? If you are interested, send Marzanne or Katie a message and let us know you're thinking about joining our Pole Sport Organization (PSO) Competition Team!

Don't Forget to Audition for Cabaret!

The New Bern Civic Theatre is seeking Actors, Singers, and Dancers 18 years of age and up to join them for this exciting adventure - Marz Aerial Arts & Fitness is the show sponsor, and our dear friend Megan Latham is the music director! The show is directed by the one and only John Van Dyke.

  • Vocal auditions January 9th at 6pm
  • Vocal auditions January 10th at 6pm
  • Vocal auditions January 13th at 2:30pm
  • Dancer auditions January 20th at 2:30pm

If you are a member or attend on a drop-in basis, make sure to join our Marz Aerial Community group on Facebook! This is a community forum to stay up-to-date on studio events and class offerings and contribute your ideas to help our team make the studio the best that it can be. It can be accessed through the Marz Aerial Facebook page under the "Groups" tab. Important studio updates & events will still be communicated via email and the MindBody schedule communications.
